B2B CFO®, the nation’s largest CFO and Exit Strategies firm for privately held businesses, announced today that award winning author and Inc. Magazine’s Editor-at-Large, Bo Burlingham will keynote the National Partners Meeting to be held April 28-30, 2016.
Bo Burlingham joined Inc. Magazine in January 1983 as a senior editor and became executive editor six months later. In 1990, he became Editor-at-Large to focus on more writing and subsequently wrote two books with Jack Stack, the cofounder and CEO of Springfield Remanufacturing Corp. and the pioneer of openbook management. One of the books, The Great Game of Business, has sold more than 300,000 copies. The other, A Stake in the Outcome, has been called “the first management classic of the new millennium.” Burlingham co-authored with Norm Brodsky the popular monthly column in Inc. called “Street Smarts,” which was a finalist for a National Magazine Award, the highest honor of the magazine industry.
In Bo Burlingham’s latest book, Finish Big: How Great Entrepreneurs Exit Their Companies On Top, he presented the eight factors that separate owners who’ve been happy after selling their companies from those who’ve been miserable. B2B CFO®’s Exit Strategy software was included in this book.
“We know we’re heading into a period of time when exits are going to be very much on the minds of hundreds of thousands of business owners, especially aging baby boomers. What Jerry Mills and I have in common is that we have been following this trend for years,” said Bo Burlingham. “Under Jerry’s leadership B2B CFO® has been developing tools, writing manuals and preparing resources like the B2B Exit® Software. At this upcoming conference I look forward to discussing key issues on this topic and how we can help business owners with the transitions.”
