Russell has over 30 years of professional experience including participating with executive leadership teams for companies in a variety of industries. As a result, Russell has broad experience in mergers & acquisitions, both on the buy side and sell side, combined with post-closing integration experience after the transactions.
Russell also has an operational background leading cross functional teams achieve Class A MRP II and other high achieving operating environments integrating legacy production environments with ERP solutions to optimize inventory and accounts receivable metrics and maximize cash flow. Russell’s Master of Business Administration degree had a production and operation management concentration.
Russell believes in continuous improvement methodologies to help companies and business owners face the challenges present in today’s competitive environment. Change and transformation require buy-in from all levels within a company, as well as proper phasing of large projects into smaller, manageable tasks to maintain a constant cadence toward the ultimate goal.
Russell earned his BS in accounting from the University of Alabama and MBA from Auburn University and is a CPA (inactive) in the state of Alabama. Russell lives just outside of Birmingham with his wife Lisa and has two children and two grandchildren.
